Last Updated: April 1st, 2026

At Opinion Wallet, we respect the privacy of our respondents.

Opinion Wallet is committed to protecting your privacy. In general, Opinion Wallet’s Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, retention, and security of information gathered from survey respondents and other online users. Opinion Wallet does not disclose any personally identifiable information about survey respondents to third parties, except in reporting survey responses to Opinion Wallet’s clients or as required by law or legal process. Personally identifiable information means information that individually identifies you, such as your name, address, email address, or social security number.

WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DOES OPINION WALLET COLLECT?

Opinion Wallet collects a wide range of information about survey respondents depending on the information needs of our clients requesting the surveys. For example, survey respondents may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable, financial, or demographic information, as well as specific opinions about a variety of goods and services. Responses to all survey questions are completely voluntary. A survey respondent should only provide responses to questions they are comfortable answering and may decline to answer any survey question.

WHAT DOES OPINION WALLET DO WITH RESPONDENT INFORMATION?

Opinion Wallet reports information gathered through surveys (demographic data, preferences, etc.) to its clients. Any information you voluntarily disclose in a survey will be provided to the commissioner of that survey. Opinion Wallet does not disclose a survey respondent’s personally identifiable information to any clients or third parties other than the commissioner of the survey.

In addition, we may disclose personal information that we collect or that you provide:

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business (who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them).

  • To a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Opinion Wallet’s assets.

  • For any other purpose disclosed when you provide the information.

  • With your consent.

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to government or regulatory requests.

  •

WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DOES OPINION WALLET COLLECT FROM SURVEY RESPONDENTS?

Opinion Wallet’s servers automatically recognize a respondent’s domain name and IP address. No personal information is revealed in this process. Opinion Wallet may also gather anonymous traffic data that does not personally identify a respondent but may be useful for marketing purposes or improving services.

From time to time, Opinion Wallet may use standard cookie features from major browsers to store small pieces of data about your interaction with our website. Opinion Wallet does not store personally identifiable information in cookies nor use other data capture mechanisms beyond cookies. Cookies help us understand which areas of our website are useful and which need improvement. You can choose whether to accept cookies through your browser settings.

Our surveys are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we become aware that we have collected such information without parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe we may have information from or about a child under 16, please contact us.
